The Premier Titan's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They took a 39-22 bruising from Sequoia Charter.
Donovan Marshall was the offensive standout of the matchup as he dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. Asher Roehl was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Premier bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.3 points per game. As for Sequoia Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Premier won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Heritage Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 19th. Heritage Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Premier likes a good challenge. Sequoia Charter will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Heritage Academy Gateway at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
