Northside - Jacksonville extended their losing streak  to nine  on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 3-16 in the process. They lost  11-2 to the Richlands Wildcats. As for Richlands,  the  win snapped their losing streak at six games  and leaves them with a 6-11 record. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
On Richlands' side,  Lucas Roberts spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on three hits and racked up seven Ks. Roberts has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Marlon Machado was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs and three  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high.  Hayden Turner was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 Northside - Jacksonville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  10-0  defeat against D.H. Conley on the 22nd. As for Richlands, they have also already played their next matchup,  a  7-0  loss against Dixon on the 24th.
