With a playoff game on the line, Rancho Mirage rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They skirted past the Eagles 2-1.
Rancho Mirage was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Emiliano Dominguez and
Bryan Hernandez, who scored both of Rancho Mirage's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 14 so far this season.
Meanwhile, University Prep waltzed into their match on Wednesday with seven straight wins but they left with eight. They won by a goal and slipped past Vista del Lago 2-1.
Rancho Mirage's victory bumped their record up to 11-4-4. As for University Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5-3 record this season.
