First Flight has gone 9-1 against Northeastern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Nighthawks will take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m.

First Flight came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Holmes. The Nighthawks have struggled against the Aces recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While First Flight was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Northeastern had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Albemarle School on Monday.

While Northeastern won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-23.

First Flight's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Northeastern, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-8.

First Flight took their victory against Northeastern when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Nighthawks repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
