Basketball Recap: Wilson Piles Up the Points Against West Florence

Wilson won the last time they faced West Florence and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wilson Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the West Florence Knights 71-11. That looming 71-11 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Leading Wilson to victory were LOGAN MURRAY and Leanissa Swinton. MURRAY dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten boards, while Swinton dropped a double-double on 17 points and 21 boards. MURRAY's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of ZOEY MILLER, who posted 13 points and four steals.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points per game. As for West Florence, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
