Alex Jimenez put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He is becoming a predictor of Concord's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 2-1 (and 6-11 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Jimenez and Concord will be playing at home against Warsaw at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
