The Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans won against the Udall Eagles back in December of 2023 with 54 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Cedar Vale/Dexter breezed by Udall on the road to the tune of 54-23. Cedar Vale/Dexter has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 26 points or more this season.
When it comes to explaining why Udall lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jenson Harness. Despite the final result, he scored seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Harness hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games.
Cedar Vale/Dexter is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Udall, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-5.
Cedar Vale/Dexter will head out on the road to square off against West Elk at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Udall won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Argonia at 10:30 a.m. on January 13th. Hopefully Argonia focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
