The Camden County Wildcats will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the McEachern Indians at 7:30 p.m. on November 17th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Camden County walked away with it. They took down Newton 29-15 on Saturday.
Camden County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ja'marley Riddle out in front who rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns. Jaden Dailey and his 141 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Camden County's win.
Meanwhile, McEachern had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-0 victory over Campbell at home. McEachern's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Camden County's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for McEachern, they have yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 7-4 record.
Camden County might still be hurting after the 38-13 defeat they got from McEachern when the teams last played back in September of 2017. Can Camden County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
