Maysville is 7-2 against Oklahoma School for the Deaf since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Maysville Warriors will face off against the Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison at 6:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, Maysville was the victim of a rough 62-38 defeat at the hands of Wayne. Maysville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, even though Maud scored an imposing 59 points on Tuesday, Oklahoma School for the Deaf still came out on top. Oklahoma School for the Deaf took their matchup against Maud 71-59. The victory was just what Oklahoma School for the Deaf needed coming off of a 65-18 defeat in their prior contest.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Landen Fewel out in front who scored 28 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fewel has scored all season. Another player making a difference was RyJan Reininger, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds.
Maysville has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.
