Hialeah Educational Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ian Pascal led the charge by scoring 12 points along with four blocks. That's the first time this season that Pascal posted two or more blocks. Jayquan Freeman was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and six steals.
NSU University suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were beaten by Archbishop McCarthy 105-70.
Hialeah Educational Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for NSU University, their loss ended a 14-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.
