Tanque Verde never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Catalina Trojans as they made off with an 18-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won 14 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Claire Achilles was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 14 consecutive appearances.
