Two dominant backs in Chase Wyhlidko and Shaun Jones are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos will be playing at home against the Placer Hillmen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Twelve Bridges comes in on six and Placer on three.
Twelve Bridges is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Nevada Union 56-17 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Raging Rhinos' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Miners are ranked 377th).

Connor Frontiera continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 331 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 16.6 yards per attempt. Those five passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dylan Amos, who picked up 102 receiving yards and one TD.
Twelve Bridges was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 314 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Placer won against Burbank back in September with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Hillmen strolled past Del Campo with points to spare, taking the game 42-26. The Hillmen pushed the score to 42-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars cut but never quite recovered from.
Twelve Bridges better keep an eye on Danny Sanchez-Harlow. He was instrumental in Placer's win, rushing for 143 yards and three scores on only seven carries, while also picking up 72 receiving yards and one touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 74 yards.
Placer didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Carter Soderman and Keilin Beverage.
Twelve Bridges' victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Placer, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Twelve Bridges has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 295.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Placer struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 250.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Twelve Bridges against Placer when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 43-7 victory. Will the Raging Rhinos repeat their success, or do the Hillmen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
