Canby's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Parkrose Broncos. Considering the Cougars have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Canby is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Parkrose, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Canby will face off against Putnam at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Kingsmen at the right time seeing as the Kingsmen are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Parkrose, they will square off against Wilsonville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight.
