The Kingsway Christian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They walked away with a 56-44 victory over Senedot Stripes. Kingsway Christian didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.
Kingsway Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elias Smith led the charge by scoring 11 points along with nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Smith has scored all season. Another player making a difference was JT Bischoff, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Kingsway Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-16. As for Senedot Stripes, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Kingsway Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Grand Lake Christian at 3:45 p.m. on January 27th. Senedot Stripes will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harvest Temple Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on February 9th.
