The Peru Tigers will head out on the road to  square off against  the Lewis Cass Kings at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Peru will be strutting in after a  win while Lewis Cass will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Peru will roll into the  match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two  runs  on Monday, then bounced right back against Marion  on Tuesday. Peru blew past Marion 14-2. Peru might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matchups by six  runs or more this season.
  Alilyanah Johnson was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Johnson was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Peru got a  massive  performance out of  Katlyn Converse, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Marlee Honn, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with four  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 12  runs the game before, Lewis Cass was a bit more limited  in their  game  on Tuesday. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 8-1 walloping at the hands of Oak Hill. Lewis Cass has struggled against Oak Hill recently, as their  contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
  Ava Hubner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with a  home run.
 Peru's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Lewis Cass, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
 Peru might still be hurting after the  13-2 defeat they got from Lewis Cass  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2015. Can Peru avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
