Greeneview waltzed into their match on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the West Liberty-Salem Tigers 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Greeneview let Lucas Reynolds and Trevor Moore run wild. Reynolds earned three RBI, three runs, and one stolen base, while Moore went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three runs gave Reynolds a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andy Burkett, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Greeneview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Liberty-Salem only posted a batting average of .222.

Greeneview's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for West Liberty-Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greeneview will challenge Madison Plains at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 3.5, the Golden Eagles 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for West Liberty-Salem, they will take on Indian Lake at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
