The Ridgeview Panthers will take on the St. Joseph Academy Flashes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
Ridgeview is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Menendez just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 7-6.

James Norton was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has become a key player for Ridgeview: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-10 otherwise.
Meanwhile, St. Joseph Academy made easy work of Bishop Kenny on Friday and carried off an 8-2 win. The Flashes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.
Garrison Wade and Sean Miskowiec made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Wade struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Miskowiec pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. At the plate, Wade went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI, while Miskowiec went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Wade is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dayton Taylor, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Robshaw, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
St. Joseph Academy pushed their record up to 17-4-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ridgeview, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
Ridgeview might still be hurting after the 11-3 defeat they got from St. Joseph Academy when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will the Panthers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
