Sidney lost against Scottsbluff last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Saturday. The Sidney Red Raiders were  outmatched by the Scottsbluff Bearcats and fell  86-56.
 Scottsbluff's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Nate Kelley, who  went 8 for 12  on his way to 22  points along with six  assists and five  rebounds. Kelley's evening made it three games in a row in which  he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tre Boswell, who  went 9 of 17  to rack up 21 points in addition to six  boards and four  steals.
Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Scottsbluff, the  win was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.
 Sidney and Scottsbluff should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings. Sidney (ranked 47th) will meet Chadron (ranked 133rd)  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile,  Scottsbluff will  face off against  North Platte  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday up  217 places (17 vs. 234).
