Two dominant  signal callers in  Jerome Sequeira and  Michael Lewis are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Desert Pines Jaguars will square off against the Green Valley Gators at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Having struggled with three  losses in a row, Desert Pines  turned things around against Canyon Springs  on Friday. They blew past the Pioneers, posting  a  48-21 win. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won three matchups by 27  points or more  so far this season.
 Marcus Williams produced another solid  effort picking up 59 receiving yards and three  touchdowns, while also rushing for 77 yards.

Desert Pines better keep an eye on  Sonny Uranich. He was instrumental in Green Valley's win, rushing for 277 yards and a pair of  TDs while picking up 16.3 yards per carry.
 Green Valley was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 339  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Desert Pines' record now sits at 4-5. As for Green Valley, they now  have a winning record of 5-4.
