It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Broomfield had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 35-28 win over the Montrose Red Hawks. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Broomfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Darien Jackson, who threw for 175 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. The dominant performance also gave Jackson a new career-high in rushing yards (27). Elliot Less was in the mix as well, providing Broomfield with two touchdowns.
