Scriven has become a key player for Gulf: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 2-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Aiden Holewski, who picked up 81 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Countryside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Gulf, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.
