Memphis G posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out 11 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Knippa: the team is undefeated when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 6-12 otherwise.
