The Lustre Christian Lions and the Dodson Coyotes will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
Last Saturday, Lustre Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 45-40 to Bainville.
Dodson can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past Nashua with a 35-31 victory.
Dodson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Precious Stiffarm out in front who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stiffarm has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kashton Siers, who scored eight points.
Lustre Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Dodson, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.
Everything came up roses for Lustre Christian against Dodson in their previous matchup on January 5th as the squad secured a 69-27 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lustre Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
