Midlothian strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Monacan Chiefs as they made off with a 9-1 win. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.
Marlee Gaskell was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Gaskell was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. That run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Bella Moussa and Erin Fiege did most of the damage at the plate: Moussa went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs, while Fiege went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Fiege has posted since back in March.
Midlothian's victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0.
