The Calvary Day School Cougars will face off against the Caldwell Academy Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Calvary Day School's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Caldwell Academy has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.
It was a proper cat-fight when Calvary Day School challenged Westchester Country Day on Thursday. The Cougars walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Wildcats.

Anthony Hill tossed a big game, pitching 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Calvary Day School is 5-1 when Hill allows one or fewer earned runs, but 4-5 otherwise.
At the plate, Calvary Day School saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rex Steward, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Brycen Gerlach was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
Meanwhile, Caldwell Academy had just enough and edged out Ballantyne Ridge 6-5 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.
Liam Schooley looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Caldwell Academy let Reid Silvers and Spencer McBurney run wild. Silvers went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI, while McBurney went 2-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. Those two doubles gave McBurney a new career-high.
Caldwell Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Calvary Day School, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Calvary Day School has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .432. However, it's not like Caldwell Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .440. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
