The Park Tudor Panthers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against North Vermillion by a score of 41-28.
Dj (darrell) gordon was his usual excellent self, rushing for 124 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 246 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt. (darrell) gordon's longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards. Park Tudor also got help from Hayden Souza who showed off his sure hands for 84 receiving yards.
Park Tudor's win was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 12-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for North Vermillion, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.
Park Tudor will head out on the road to face off against North Judson-San Pierre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Judson-San Pierre will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. North Vermillion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
