After a string of three wins, the Bandera BULLDOGS's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 65-50 bruising from Fredericksburg. Bandera was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Billies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Bandera lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elijah Salas, who scored 13 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Segura, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Bandera's defeat dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Fredericksburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-14 record this season.
Bandera will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Davenport focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday. As for Fredericksburg, they will head out on the road to challenge the Greyhounds at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boerne has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 475 points over their last seven matchups.
