In this week's postseason power rankings action, one team rose to the occasion while another fell hard. A special shoutout goes to Stockbridge's senior Gabriel Mckenzie, who scored five total touchdowns in the team's most recent match.

Blessed Trinity not only got the result it was looking for last game, but the team outscored its opponent Oconee County in every quarter. Blessed Trinity picked up a decisive 'W' against Oconee County, finishing up at 35 - 0. One major factor in the win was the play of junior Jake Smith, who tossed the ball for 172 yards and three TDs. The victory also thrust Blessed Trinity into the power rankings, where the team now holds the 23rd spot.
Can't Touch This
Mays got a 48 - 28 win over Sequoyah last week, and a key reason for the win was sophomore Tyree Nelson. Nelson rushed for 227 yards and three touchdowns. In fact, our algorithms singled out Nelson as one of the top players in the power rankings for the week.
No Stoppin 'Em
It was another game, another high-octane performance for Buford last week (their 7th in a row). It blew past Paulding County 54 - 23. The MaxPreps rankings were spot on as they projected Buford as the clear winner. The combined 77-point effort made this the highest-scoring game in the power rankings for the week.
Movin on Up
Mountain View will have a better view of things this week after its strong showing last week propelled it 22 spots up the power rankings. That was the biggest rise of the week. It scooted by South Forsyth with a score of 31 - 13. Mountain View found its leader in an underclassman: Enoch Walters ran for 57 yards and also punched in two touchdowns, which was enough to make him one of the team's best players.
