 On Southport's side,  Lorelei Bennett made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hayli Phoenix, who  went 2-for-5 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Terre Haute North Vigo has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record  this season. As for Southport, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with that  defeat, which was their fifth straight  at home.
