After a string of three wins, Lake Mary's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Lake Brantley Patriots. The match marked the first time this year in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

While Lake Mary was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23.

Leading Lake Brantley to victory were Andres Pacheco and Charles Jake Williams. Pacheco had 16 digs, while Williams had four digs. The dominant performance gave Pacheco a new career-high in digs.

Lake Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lake Brantley, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
