On Saturday, Baldwin didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Wesleyan, but they still walked away with a 52-47 victory. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Baldwin has scored all season.
Baldwin got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah Dennis out in front who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tremarius Lawrence, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Baldwin and bumps their season record up to 8-1. As for Wesleyan, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baldwin will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Griffin at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Wesleyan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Hall at 8:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
