The Wilmington Hurricane will be home for the holidays to greet the Carroll Patriots at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Tuesday, Wilmington came up short against Washington and fell 49-42. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wilmington has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Carroll's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 47-38 to Badin. While losing is never fun, Carroll can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 486th, while Badin is ranked 188th).
This is the second loss in a row for Wilmington and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Carroll, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
