Horizon Science Academy's 10-3 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westside Christian Academy.
Westside Christian Academy was led to victory by Calvin Cottenden and Nate Taylor. Cottenden scored 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Taylor scored 15 points along with seven assists and four steals. Taylor hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Reid Guertin, who scored five points along with ten rebounds.
Horizon Science Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Westside Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.
