Stanwood pushed their record up to 11-1 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Everett, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 5-8.
 Looking ahead, Stanwood will face off against Mountlake Terrace at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Everett will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans'  match: after the Spartans faces off against the Hawks, they'll take on Everett again  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
