A.L. Brown's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sadie Faulkner, who scored 16 points. The match was Faulkner's third in a row with at least ten points. Makenzie Goode-Roberts was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Carson ended up a good deal behind Lake Norman Charter on Tuesday and lost 39-25. Carson has struggled against Lake Norman Charter recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Rylee Hedrick, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Emma Carpenter, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and five steals.
A.L. Brown's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Carson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
Everything came up roses for A.L. Brown against Carson in their previous meeting back in November as the team secured a 57-19 win. With A.L. Brown ahead 37-10 at the half, the game was all but over already.
