The Calumet Christian Patriots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Quentin Road Christian 82-48 on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Calumet Christian.
Brad Nymeyer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Michael Rivera, who scored 15 points along with five steals.
Calumet Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Quentin Road Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-1.
Calumet Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hammond Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th. Calumet Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Quentin Road Christian will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Lake County Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on February 15th. Lake County Baptist will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 678th, while Quentin Road Christian is ranked 290th).
