The Whitehouse Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Hallsville Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Whitehouse is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bobcats in Texas (the Wildcats are ranked 190th, while the Bobcats are ranked 602nd).
Whitehouse unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 63-32 loss at the hands of Tyler. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Whitehouse in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Hallsville waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 54-44 win over Marshall.
Whitehouse's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-9. As for Hallsville, their victory bumped their record up to 11-21.
Whitehouse was able to grind out a solid win over the Bobcats in their previous matchup back in January, winning 35-24. The rematch might be a little tougher for Whitehouse since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
