Broderick Vehrs Delivers Electric Effort Vs Hamilton
Starting off the list is Basha's Broderick Vehrs, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Vehrs threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
Basha pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Vehrs and Basha will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chandler at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Unfortunately for Hamilton, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Richardson. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Richardson saw the Huskies), he picked up 151 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Paul Palmer was instrumental in extending Casteel's winning streak to three on Friday. Palmer turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 211 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 31 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Palmer might just drop another big game when he faces off against Chandler on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Palmer saw the Wolves), he rushed for 58 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 199 yards and a touchdown.

Hamilton Gets a Boost from Lucero Jr. in 35-20 Defeat
Rich Lucero Jr. put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 143 yards and a touchdown.
Hamilton moved to 5-1 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak. Lucero Jr. and Hamilton will be playing in front of their home fans against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Darian (Bleu) Dantzler produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Basha to the win on Friday. Dantzler picked up a sack and made five total tackles (4.0 for loss).
