Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Thursday. Destiny Christian Academy breezed past McClatchy to the tune of 50-0. Considering Destiny Christian Academy has won four contests by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Leading Destiny Christian Academy to victory were K'Aden Minor and Austin Pierce. Minor gained 95 total yards, while Pierce threw for 172 yards and two TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes.

The win (which was Destiny Christian Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 5-5. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.7 points on average over those games. As for McClatchy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Destiny Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Woodcreek at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Lions will need to watch out since the Timberwolves have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. McClatchy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
