The Dugway Mustangs's 24-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Utah School for the Deaf & Blind as Dugway made off with a 60-38 victory. Dugway's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Dugway's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hazen Bullcreek, who scored 22 points. That's the first time this season that Bullcreek scored 15 or more points. Trevor Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Dugway's win ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-9. As for Utah School for the Deaf & Blind, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Telos the next time they take the court. Utah School for the Deaf & Blind will host Telos at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while Dugway will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
