Mesa Grande Academy has gone 7-2 against Public Safety Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mesa Grande Academy Cardinals will venture away from home to challenge the Public Safety Academy Phoenix at 3:15 p.m. Public Safety Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Mesa Grande Academy, who comes in off a win.

While Cardinals fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Monday's season opener. They had just enough and edged out Loma Linda Academy 3-2. The game was the first time the Cardinals have beaten the Roadrunners on their field since April 8, 2021.

Melody Bender was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. The dominant performance gave her a new career-low in earned runs. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brityn Chase, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Public Safety Academy's offense. They lost 19-0 to Calvary Baptist on Tuesday.

Everything went Mesa Grande Academy's way against Public Safety Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Mesa Grande Academy made off with a 19-8 victory.
