Miami kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 59-42 bruising from the Booker Kiowas.

Even though they lost, Miami was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 214 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Julian Barton had an outrageously good game for Booker as he picked up 123 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Chase Nelson, who gained 283 total yards and a touchdown.
Miami will look to defend their home field on Friday against Boys Ranch at 7:00 p.m. As for Booker, they will head out to square off against McLean at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
