Rainier Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 63-47 to the Ballard Beavers. One positive for the Vikings, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Rainier Beach now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Ballard, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rainier Beach and Franklin will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Rainier Beach surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ballard, they will head out on the road to challenge Cleveland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ballard is facing Cleveland at the right time seeing as Cleveland is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
