Turtle Mountain pushed their score all the way to 66 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 76-66 to Westhope/Newburg.
Meanwhile, Killdeer was able to grind out a solid victory over New England on Tuesday, taking the game 46-35. The win made it back-to-back wins for Killdeer.
Turtle Mountain's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Killdeer, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
