Reese Heflin put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off 13 hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that she stole this season.
