Sherwood posted their closest victory since February 16, 2024 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wootton Patriots, sneaking past 41-38. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Despite the defeat, Wootton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Malia Bellamy dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 boards. Bellamy also set a new season-high mark in blocks with eight. Megan Lomotan also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
Sherwood pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Wootton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-8.
