The McCutcheon Mavericks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Crawfordsville on the road to the tune of 71-36. The win was some much needed relief for McCutcheon as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
It was another big night for Owen Souligne, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and 4 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Richardson, who scored 11 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Despite the loss, Crawfordsville still got an impressive performance from Ethan McLemore, who scored 22 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Kaden Patton, who scored six points along with two steals.
McCutcheon's win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Crawfordsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
McCutcheon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 73-55 defeat vs. Marion on the 9th. Crawfordsville has also already played their next game, a 59-39 loss against Tri-West Hendricks on the 9th.
