After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Lamar, the Banning Lewis Academy Stallions were happy to have found some success  on Wednesday. They strolled past Florence with  points to spare, taking the game  63-49. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Banning Lewis Academy considering their 23-point performance the  matchup before.
 Among those leading the charge was   Kobe Welch, who  scored 20 points. That's the first time this season that  he  scored 15 or more  points.  Joseph Bjegovich was another key contributor,  scoring 13 points along with eight  rebounds.
 Banning Lewis Academy's win was  their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Florence, they are  on a five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-9.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Banning Lewis Academy will  take on The Vanguard School at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in The Vanguard School's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  every time they've taken the court this season. As for Florence, they will head out on the road to  take on  Colorado Springs Christian at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
