Perhaps the best among them was Shaniquah Casey, who scored eight points along with six assists and four steals. Casey has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Nora Mccormick was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
LaConner's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Coupeville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
LaConner will head out on the road to take on Darrington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coupeville, they will be playing at home against Mount Vernon Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Mount Vernon Christian will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
