Baseball Recap: Wyoming Area Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

Wyoming Area was handed a eight-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns 11-9. The game was the first time the Warriors have beaten the Buckhorns on their field since March 25, 2019.

Chase Speicher was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was David Fath, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
